This massive driveway and patio project has been installed by Excel Driveways in Glounthaune, Co. Cork.
The garden was overgrown with bushes and trees and we took all of them out. The customers had very little parking space, so we completely excavated the area and created a whole new layout with plenty of space for driving and parking.
We re-faced the existing old steps with new black granite stepping stones and created new flower beds bordered with old railway sleepers, which gave the area a proper character.
We put down new hardcore base and topped the driveway with stone mastic asphalt, that is well known for its low maintenance and high durability. To prevent the cars skidding on the steep driveway, we added extra grip solution to the mix.
